As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will contribute to the advancement of nursing practices and enhance positive patient outcomes.

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Intensive-Progressive Unit (ICU), you will support our 13-bed unit (4 ICU & 9 telemetry beds).

The patient demographic includes a diverse range of critical care surgical patients, trauma cases, and neurological patients.
In this role, you will provide both clinical and administrative support, collaborating closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage personnel to achieve designated goals and deliver nursing care and services effectively.

You will also implement cost-effective staffing and supply management strategies, as well as educate patients and their families.

As a member of our ICU-PCU, you will administer prescribed medications following the 5 rights of medication administration, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.

You will serve as the primary coordinator for all disciplines involved in patient care, including discharge planning with the healthcare team.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia or possess a Compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
