Administrative and Housekeeping Coordinator

Position: Business Office / Housekeeping Manager
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm
As the Business Office/Housekeeping Manager at Goodworks Unlimited, you will oversee essential administrative functions, including invoice management and bill payments, while supporting the Executive Director in various operational tasks. Your role will also encompass the recruitment, training, and management of the Front Office and Housekeeping teams, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage general office operations, including answering calls and addressing resident inquiries.
- Assist department heads in organizing services for residents, families, and visitors.
- Sort and distribute mail, and coordinate transportation for residents to medical appointments.
- Perform secretarial duties for the Executive Director, including call screening and correspondence management.
- Maintain office and housekeeping supplies, ensuring proper inventory and order management.
- Supervise and evaluate Front Office and Housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Interpersonal Skills:
Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with staff, residents, and external partners. Uphold the dignity and individuality of each resident in all interactions.
Human Resources Duties:
- Assist with the recruitment process and maintain confidentiality regarding personnel matters.
- Coordinate worker's compensation and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Financial Management:
Maintain accurate financial records for community transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. Ensure timely processing of invoices and reconciliation of vendor statements.
