ABM Industries is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to oversee the coordination and completion of electrical testing and engineering services projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Management
    • Ensure that all assigned technicians have the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) to perform their duties safely.
    • Attend regular safety meetings to stay informed and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
  • Technician Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of technicians, assigning tasks and providing them with the necessary information and equipment to complete their work.
  • Financial Management
    • Work closely with the Project Coordinator to review technician time and expenses in EPAY on a weekly basis.
    • Monitor job performance using EPAY, WIP, and Insight to ensure projects are on track and within budget.
    • Track and manage project costs, including materials, rentals, subcontractors, and other expenses, to ensure budgetary compliance.
    • Request additional resources as needed and coordinate with other offices to support local work when necessary.
  • Project Administration
    • Review, audit, and approve technician credit card expenses through Chrome River.
    • Review and approve test reports for completeness and accuracy before submitting them to customers.
    • Manage all testing equipment assigned to technicians and the office.
