Position: Business Office / Housekeeping Manager
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
As the Business Office/Housekeeping Manager at Goodworks Unlimited, you will oversee a variety of essential functions aimed at maintaining a smooth operational flow within our community. Your primary responsibilities will include managing invoices, processing payments, and executing various administrative tasks under the guidance of the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the scheduling, recruitment, training, and budgeting for the Front Office and Housekeeping teams.
- Conduct general office duties, including answering phone inquiries and addressing resident requests.
- Assist department heads in organizing services for residents, families, and visitors.
- Manage mail sorting and distribution to residents and staff.
- Facilitate transportation for residents to medical appointments twice weekly.
- Perform secretarial tasks for the Executive Director, including call screening and correspondence management.
- Maintain inventory of office and housekeeping supplies, ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate Front Office and Housekeeping staff.
Interpersonal Skills:
Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with staff, residents, families, and vendors. Show respect for the rights and dignity of each resident in all interactions.
Human Resources Duties:
- Assist with processing job applications and new hire documentation.
- Act as the worker's compensation coordinator, ensuring compliance with OSHA reporting requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information related to residents and staff.
Financial Management:
Maintain comprehensive financial records for community transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and assist in budget development by providing relevant financial insights to the Executive Director.
