About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Officer to join our Asset Based Lending team at Bank of America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering creative senior secured credit facilities to large corporate, middle market, and lower middle market borrowers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing new financing opportunities and leading deal teams through the analysis, approval, and execution phases of a transaction.
  • Developing an internal referral network of relationship managers and credit product partners in Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking, Global Corporate and Investment Banking, and others.
  • Building strong relationships with internal colleagues and external clients to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Generating a desirable volume of new commercial finance clients and developing production referral sources within an assigned geographic region.
Requirements
  • Direct calling experience at the CEO, CFO, and MD level.
  • Five+ years of experience in ABL Lending.
  • Strong oral, written, and analytical/credit skills.
  • Ability to travel for in-person meetings.
  • FINRA 7, 63, and 79 licenses (if not currently licensed, must be completed within 180 days of start date).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a bank credit training program.
