About this position:

Wells Fargo is looking for a Senior Manager in Business Execution to oversee the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) Business Management team.

This pivotal role will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of Business Execution Consultants and managing the operational routines of the CAO and COO. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to prioritize effectively while maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating exceptional facilitation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and nurture a team of Business Execution Consultants, focusing on Business Management activities, employee engagement, and the execution of enterprise initiatives for the Chief Administrative Office.
  • Oversee Services Governance and Staffing Adequacy planning and reporting for CAO functions.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives within the CAO, including Speaker Series, Leadership Academy, and Extended Leadership Team programs.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Finance and HR to track and manage CAO Financials and Headcount, ensuring effective governance and oversight.
  • Supervise enterprise Move-the-Lines (MTL) activities for the Chief Operating Office, excluding Operations functions.
  • Conduct industry research on competitors and peer organizations, developing actionable recommendations and compelling business cases supported by metrics and research.
  • Prepare executive-level presentation materials and briefings.
  • Work alongside senior leaders within the CAO to refine business strategies and implement corresponding plans and initiatives.
  • Manage the allocation of personnel and financial resources for Business Management.
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, and education.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Previous management consulting experience at a leading consulting firm within the financial services sector.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience in capacity management, forecasting, process improvement, and metrics.
  • Ability to analyze financial and headcount reports and recommend changes.
  • Experience in leading employee engagement initiatives.
  • Experience in governance and oversight for Staffing Adequacy and Move-the-Line activities.
  • Proficiency in strategy and business case development, including securing executive approval for projects.
  • Ability to translate strategic initiatives into actionable programs, clearly defining problem statements, scopes, resource requirements, and timelines for executive presentation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead and gain buy-in from diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
  • Capability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive-level communications.
  • Influential leadership skills, with the ability to guide and manage teams without direct authority.
  • Self-motivated, with a proven ability to think strategically and tactically, identify opportunities, and implement solutions in ambiguous environments.
Job Expectations:
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
