Job Summary:

A Local Account Executive (Sales Rep) at TForce Freight is responsible for strategically converting new business, penetrating territories, and fulfilling quotas to grow and retain profitable revenue. This role involves analyzing sales reports and transportation trends to identify new customers, growth from existing customers, and shipment reductions. A key aspect of this position is developing a pipeline of potential customers through strategic relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and analytical skills, ability to identify issues and provide solutions, and experience giving sales presentations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Compiling weekly sales recaps on achievements, losses, and competitive information.
  2. Analyzing account recaps and monitoring revenue trends to develop service recommendations.
  3. Utilizing shipping technology and systems for account activity review and customer database sign-up.
  4. Managing accounts by advising customers on billing processes, resolving inquiries, and entertaining customers.
  5. Training customers on web-based shipping and tracking functions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
  • U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the position or being willing to self-relocate
