Job Summary

As a Business Development Executive at Time Logistics, Inc., you will be responsible for generating revenues by performing cold sales calls, sales trips, and maintaining active accounts. You will also recognize qualified leads, establish relationships, and build a book of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate Revenues by performing cold sales calls, sales trips, and maintaining active accounts.
  • Recognize qualified leads by analyzing shippers and consignees.
  • Establish relationships and build a book of business.
  • Maximize customer and TLI profit potential by understanding pricing matrices and gathering detailed information about customer freight and shipping requirements.
  • Ensure processes remain simple and efficient before presenting solutions to customers.
  • Provide customer support for major and minor issues, solutions regarding internal or external problems with freight and postal management, and pricing issues or negotiations.
  • Assist the Business Development Department with generating and maintaining lead databases, travel arrangements, sales and marketing ideas, and materials.
  • Follow all operating and financial procedures and policies, including operating within established budgets and providing regular reports and updates.

Requirements:

  • Travel required to meet new or potential customers, meet with current house accounts or vendors, and attend assigned conferences.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of freight management and logistics principles.
