Job Description

McKesson is a leading healthcare company that provides innovative solutions to improve patient care. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team in the South Carolina market.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a proven track record of success in a similar role. They will be responsible for selling medical supplies and equipment to healthcare facilities and services in the assigned territory, with a focus on building strong relationships with customers and identifying new business opportunities.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell medical supplies and equipment to healthcare facilities and services in the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of relevant sales experience
  • Demonstrated cold calling and prospecting skills
  • Ability to maintain existing customer base and network with channel partners
  • Experience consistently hitting and/or overachieving sales objectives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
