About the Role

April LLC is seeking a highly skilled Customer Success Manager to play a pivotal role in our client relationships. As a key member of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with our partners and act as their primary point of contact.

In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding and guiding partners through our cutting-edge implementation process, establishing strong relationships, and aligning with their specific expectations. You will also work closely with our team to ensure alignment on partner needs and address any challenges to ensure retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Critical Partnerships: Drive the execution of joint initiatives and launch new offerings to benefit April's users.
  • Develop a Best-in-Class Partner Management Model: Create a comprehensive framework for managing partner relationships.
  • Craft Strategic Partnerships: Leverage industry knowledge to develop thoughtful partnership and product strategies.
  • Navigate Complex Deals: Collaborate with banks and issuers to execute deals supporting our strategy and ensure proper execution.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Gather inputs from and coordinate with internal stakeholders on creation and execution of client strategy.
  • Identify Key Stakeholders: Find and educate stakeholders on our value proposition, executing deals that address their needs and support our strategy.
  • Develop Holistic Account Management Strategy: Leverage significant industry experience to help our internal teams compose a comprehensive account management strategy.
Requirements
  • Experience in Partner Management: Proven experience in partner management, business development, or a related role, ideally in the financial services industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Exposure to the tax or accounting industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Product-Centric Environment: A passion for product-centric environments and the ability to work effectively across teams with multiple dependencies.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical thinking with a knack for problem-solving and creating value for partners and end-users.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Adaptability: The ability to learn quickly, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and contribute to operational success.
