Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled Business Office Administration Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our business office. This individual will be responsible for managing multiple tasks, ensuring that patient financial matters are handled efficiently, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and staff.



Responsibilities



  • Oversee and coordinate office operations and procedures
  • Revenue Cycle management including billing, cash posting, refunds, denials, and collections
  • Coordinates and monitors the performance of accounts placed with outside collection agencies
  • Experience with collections efforts and establishes payment arrangements using hospital guidelines
  • Experience with patient collections and financial counseling preferred
  • Experience with closing a billing system each month on time for the financial close


Requirements



  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience: A minimum of five (5) years' experience in a multi-faceted business office preferably in a health-care setting, with billing and collection procedures for Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payors
  • Proven experience in office management or similar role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of human resources processes
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
