Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Traffic Planning & Design. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and safe working environment for all employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Plan, coordinate, and direct all facilities-related activities, including space planning, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Asset Management: Document and maintain a database of all facility-related assets, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Office Operations: Manage office supplies, facilities supplies, and department-specific supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient work environment.
  • Security and Access: Assist with managing security and access systems at all TPD offices, ensuring secure and controlled access to sensitive areas.
  • Customer Service: Establish and maintain regular communications with staff regarding facilities activities, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Project Support: Assist with facility repairs, installations, small construction remodeling, grounds improvement, and maintenance projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to safety policies and equipment, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain all aspects of TPD's vehicles, including maintenance, repairs, and purchasing new vehicles as needed.
  • Marketing Support: Place and maintain TPD's marketing signage at various job sites, ensuring consistent branding and visibility.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively with staff, customers, and clients.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to apply common sense and problem-solving skills to carry out detailed instructions and resolve issues.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and perform other physical demands of the job, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in an outdoor and professional office environment, with moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to loud construction sites.
