Job Overview

Furthermore, the Medical Imaging Specialist is expected to:

  • Engage in various clinical support tasks, including patient registration, scheduling, and clerical duties.
  • Possess basic medical assisting skills, which may involve patient triage under supervision, including obtaining vital signs and conducting point-of-care tests.
Qualifications

Education: Completion of a post-secondary diploma program in Radiologic Technology.

Experience: Relevant clinical experience is preferred.

Certifications: Current BLS certification and RT (R) (ARRT) or eligibility for certification upon graduation, with successful examination completion required prior to employment.
