Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Director to join our team at Freeman. This role will focus on driving sales growth and engagement with new clients and banners.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building brand awareness, relationship development, and successful business closing. They will be responsible for managing a book of accounts, developing sales plans, and working collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams.

The Strategic Business Development Director will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and engagement with new clients and banners
  • Managing a book of accounts and developing sales plans to meet revenue targets
  • Working collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Providing weekly reporting on prospect meetings, new opportunities, project development, and forecast updates

The successful candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 7-10 years of senior sales management experience
  • Proven track record of building brand awareness, relationship development, and successful business closing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams and foster a culture of continuous process improvement
