About the Role

Glenmede is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Director to lead sales efforts and expand clientele in the Philadelphia metro market.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in wealth management business development, a strong network of contacts, and excellent communication skills.

This role requires a deep understanding of financial planning, wealth management, and investment management, as well as the ability to self-source client leads and build meaningful relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve annual sales revenue targets
  • Built a robust sales pipeline through direct prospecting, referrals, and partnerships
  • Manage and maintain prospect data in the CRM
  • Partner with Corporate Marketing to build and execute a local marketing plan
  • Foster a network of referral sources and centers of influence
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 10+ years of progressive wealth or investment management business development experience
  • Ability to self-source client leads and build a strong network of contacts
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial planning, wealth management, and investment management
