Job Title: Account Executive

Job Summary:

GRM Document Management is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for maximizing sales of our document management services in the NYC area to new customers and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Manage and upsell to assigned client base to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead Generation: Lead generation and prospecting activities to maintain a required pipeline of prospect accounts.
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify, research, track, and develop leads into viable opportunities.
  • Value Proposition: Effectively articulate the GRM value proposition to multiple organizational levels.
  • Business Development: Develop strong business cases, proposals, and presentations for sales opportunities.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate the terms of agreements and close sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain a strong knowledge of the industry, trends, technology, competitive offerings, and customer requirements, and provide informed feedback to the company.
  • Professional Development: Participate in professional organizations (sales, marketing, industry associations).

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of consultative sales experience selling document storage and electronic document management solutions.
  • Hunter Mentality: A strong hunter mentality - the ability to prospect and sell into new account opportunities.
  • Drive and Passion: Driven to succeed and excel, with a passion and enthusiasm for the business.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Excels in an entrepreneurial atmosphere with constant change.
  • Technical Awareness: Technical awareness - can confidently converse with C-level contacts.
  • Relationship Building: Strong relationship building skills.
  • Performance: Proven record of exceeding quota in previous positions.
  • Competitive Sales: Demonstrated ability to win competitive account sales.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
