Compensation: $21.14 per hour

As an integral part of our Operations team, you will be responsible for executing a variety of tasks related to banking operations, including handling moderately complex deposit and electronic banking transactions. Your role will involve interpreting diverse consumer and commercial account relationships as well as various banking documents. You will provide guidance and resolve exceptions associated with the setup and maintenance of deposit and electronic banking services.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an operations-related position is essential.
Required Skills:
  • Self-motivated individual capable of independently completing tasks after receiving initial guidance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for recommending effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling professional interactions with both internal and external stakeholders while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Organizational skills are crucial, as you will be part of a collaborative team responsible for task completion. You should be able to manage your workload while contributing to team objectives.
  • Solid understanding of banking practices and familiarity with bank products, along with the ability to quickly learn and retain specific product and procedural information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, along with experience using relevant systems such as Nautilus and Fiserv Signature.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 50% Accurately process moderately complex monetary and non-monetary transactions; establish new deposit and electronic banking accounts; verify proper account setup; reconcile assigned accounts; resolve exceptions; ensure compliance with regulations.
  • 15% Actively maintain and resolve errors related to the setup and management of deposit and electronic banking accounts.
  • 15% Perform routine tasks, including loading new accounts into the core accounting system, maintaining accounts, reviewing transactions for accuracy, and responding to inquiries from both internal and external customers.
  • 15% Research, analyze, and address moderately complex issues related to deposit and electronic banking transactions.
  • 5% Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Stationary for 75% of the time or more.
  • Ability to lift objects up to a maximum of 10 lbs.
