Position Overview:

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for executing various tasks within the Operations department, focusing on managing moderately complex deposit and electronic banking transactions. This role requires a thorough understanding of consumer and commercial account relationships as well as deposit and electronic banking documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monetary and non-monetary transactions with precision, ensuring the accurate setup of new deposit and electronic banking accounts.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies related to the establishment and upkeep of deposit and electronic banking accounts.
  • Conduct routine functions, including loading new accounts into the core accounting system and responding to inquiries from both internal and external customers.
  • Research and analyze moderately complex issues pertaining to deposit and electronic banking transactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an operations-related position is necessary.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently after receiving initial guidance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to propose solutions to issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with all stakeholders while providing high-quality customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing personal workload while contributing to team objectives.
  • Solid understanding of banking practices and products, with the ability to quickly learn specific systems and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with experience using banking systems such as Nautilus and Fiserv Signature.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to remain stationary for 75% of the time or more.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
