Position Summary: The Area Operations Manager is tasked with overseeing the strategic development and management of the Wound Care Program within the designated region. This role encompasses comprehensive oversight of the Wound Care Center, including operational management, staff leadership, financial oversight, quality enhancement, and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management (20%): Directs the daily operations of outpatient clinics and related wound care programs, ensuring efficient processes and optimal patient flow.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluates clinic operations, identifies improvement opportunities, and implements best practices to enhance service delivery.
- Resource Coordination: Collaborates with hospital and corporate teams to guarantee the availability of necessary resources and supplies.
- Effective Communication: Facilitates information flow and promotes communication among all program stakeholders.
- Staff Leadership (5%): Responsible for recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Financial Oversight (10%): Manages revenue cycle operations, staying informed on reimbursement changes and ensuring fiscal responsibility through financial reporting and analysis.
- Community Engagement (40%): Partners with marketing teams to develop strategic outreach initiatives, enhancing referral relationships and community awareness of the Wound Care Center.
- Quality Improvement (10%): Implements a continuous performance improvement program, ensuring compliance with patient safety guidelines and monitoring satisfaction levels.
- Relationship Management (15%): Cultivates strong relationships with hospital clients and healthcare providers, addressing their needs and fostering collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field preferred, along with a minimum of one year of experience in healthcare marketing or clinical operations.
- Alternatively, an Associate's degree with two or more years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma with four years of applicable experience.
- Management experience is preferred.
