Position Overview:
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for executing various tasks within the Operations sector, focusing on moderately complex and routine deposit and electronic banking transactions. This role requires the ability to interpret diverse consumer and commercial account relationships, as well as deposit and electronic banking documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process a variety of monetary and non-monetary transactions with accuracy, including the setup of new deposit and electronic banking accounts.
- Verify the correct establishment of accounts and reconcile assigned accounts while addressing any exceptions to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Proactively maintain and resolve errors associated with the setup and upkeep of deposit and electronic banking accounts.
- Perform routine functions such as loading new accounts into the core accounting system, maintaining account details, and reviewing transactions for accuracy.
- Conduct research and analysis to resolve moderately complex issues related to deposit and electronic banking transactions.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operations-related position is necessary.
Skills and Competencies:
- Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks independently after receiving initial guidance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to recommend solutions to various issues.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both internal and external clients while providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing personal workload while contributing to team objectives.
- Solid understanding of banking practices and products, with the ability to quickly learn and retain specific information and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with experience using systems such as Nautilus and Fiserv Signature.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Must be able to remain stationary for 75% of the time or more.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
