We are currently seeking a skilled Admissions Consultant to play a vital role in our growth.

The Admissions Consultant position is crucial in fulfilling SDI's mission by ensuring student satisfaction and support. This role involves recruiting and enrolling students interested in pursuing education in Firearms Technology and/or Unmanned Aircraft Technology. The consultant will accurately represent SDI's academic offerings, enrollment procedures, eligibility criteria, and financial considerations to prospective students. Responsibilities include making outbound calls, responding to incoming inquiries, managing email communications, conducting interviews, and overseeing our Live Chat platform, guiding potential students through the enrollment journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently achieve or surpass individual performance targets.
  • Engage with assigned candidates through phone, email, text, Live Chat, or other approved communication methods.
  • Timely respond to all incoming inquiries regarding our programs.
  • Assess applicants' qualifications, experiences, and career aspirations during interviews to ensure alignment with SDI.
  • Provide personalized support to prospective students throughout the application, enrollment, and initial attendance phases.
  • Ensure all interactions accurately reflect SDI's programs and adhere to regulatory guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison between prospective students, Financial Services, and Student Success to facilitate a positive student experience.
  • Present information about SDI's academic programs and identify the best fit for prospective students.
  • Monitor the Live Chat application, addressing questions and engaging in ongoing dialogue as necessary.
  • Process applications and supporting documents in accordance with company policies and with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Participate in company meetings and coaching sessions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • High School Diploma may be accepted with 6+ years of experience in Admissions.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Student Admissions/Enrollment in higher education preferred.
  • Experience in consultative sales or customer service roles will be considered.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and people skills.
  • Results-driven, organized self-starter with the capacity to influence others.
  • Proficient in telephone communication.
  • Basic proficiency in computerized systems and databases.
