The Edward Jones Connection (EJC) department operates as a fiduciary, delivering remote services to our smaller clients in collaboration with their local Branch Office Teams.

As a Financial Consultant, you will partner with the EJC service team to ensure an exceptional client experience that mirrors that of a traditional branch office. This will involve direct client interactions via phone or technology platforms such as Webex.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the Financial Consultant role at Edward Jones or have relevant experience working with clients, branch teams, products, or services.

This salaried position offers the flexibility of a home-based role, with your specific schedule tailored to your location's time zone and departmental needs.

Core operational hours for most associates in this department are typically Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM locally.

  • Act as the Financial Consultant for smaller clients, including SEP/Simple IRA participants, while maintaining the client relationship with the local branch team.
  • Collaborate with Client Service Administrators (CSAs) to ensure a high standard of customer service.
  • Keep the department informed of any compliance or field supervision issues.

The salary range for this position is determined based on national data, with actual compensation reflecting skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the securities industry as a Financial Consultant or in a supporting role requiring extensive knowledge of products, services, markets, and general investing.
  • Experience as an Edward Jones Financial Consultant is highly preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend information regarding various securities, market conditions, industry trends, financial planning, and relationship management.
  • Exceptional telephone and customer service skills are essential.
  • Strong computer proficiency with the capacity to learn and apply technical information; familiarity with Salesforce, MoneyGuide, and Excel is advantageous.
  • Associates with a B.A. degree will undergo annual audits of their home office.
