Position Overview

Schedule: Full-Time

  1. Our Branch Development division is dedicated to hiring, training, and supporting branch teams to provide an outstanding client experience. As a vital link between branches and the home office, you will drive positive outcomes in our core profit center and gather insights that influence our business strategies.
In this role, you will assist branch teams in expanding their client base and enhancing their leadership capabilities, fostering innovative approaches to training, development, recognition, and rewards tailored to our unique branches.

Role Responsibilities:

The Edward Jones Connection (EJC) department serves as a fiduciary, providing remote support to our smaller clients in collaboration with their local Branch Office Team. As a Senior Investment Consultant, you will work closely with the EJC service team to deliver a client experience that mirrors that of a branch office. This includes direct client interactions via phone or technology platforms.

We offer flexible hours to accommodate client needs from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm CST. Your schedule will reflect your location's time zone and may vary based on departmental requirements. Core operational hours for most associates are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm locally.

Key Duties:
  • Act as the Senior Investment Consultant for smaller clients, including SEP/Simple IRA participants, while maintaining their connection to the local branch team.
  • Engage with clients daily to enhance their relationship with our firm and assist those already engaged.
  • Deliver exceptional client service and customized solutions to meet client needs.
  • Provide initial contact and ongoing support to clients.
  • Investigate and resolve service issues or pending tasks.
  • Collaborate with Client Service Administrators (CSAs) to ensure high-quality customer service.
  • Keep the department informed of any compliance or supervisory concerns.

Our total compensation approach includes base salary, benefits, bonuses, and profit sharing. The salary range for this position is determined by national data, with actual pay reflecting skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors:

Minimum Salary: $70,659
Maximum Salary: $116,516

Qualifications:

Current Series 7 and 66 licenses (or a combination of Series 63 and 65) are required for application.

• An insurance license may be required in the future (life, health, and variable annuity)

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the securities industry as a Financial Advisor or in a role supporting Financial Advisors, with extensive knowledge of products, services, markets, and investing.

• A bachelor's degree in a business-related field is strongly preferred.

• Ability to seek, receive, and implement feedback.

• Strong critical thinking skills are essential.

• Must comprehend information regarding various securities, market conditions, industry trends, financial planning, and relationship management.

• High levels of flexibility, reliability, and sound decision-making skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including outstanding telephone and customer service abilities.

• Proficient computer skills with the capacity to learn and apply technical information. Familiarity with Salesforce, MoneyGuide, and Excel is advantageous.
