About the Role

The Patient Service Representative plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care at Community Health Network. This position works closely with healthcare providers and clinical staff to address patients' administrative needs, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering and directing patient calls, taking accurate messages, and scheduling appointments
  • Coordinating referrals, verifying insurance eligibility, and updating patient demographic information in our electronic medical record system
  • Posting and balancing payments collected, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring confidentiality
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment or 2 years of customer service experience preferred
  • Strong listening and communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Good judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with electronic medical records a plus
