Position Overview

As the Senior Audio Visual Operations Manager, you will lead the Audio Visual team, ensuring the effective management of background music (BGM), corporate events, all-hands meetings, auditorium configurations, podcasts, video conferencing, and wireless presentation systems. This position demands a combination of technical proficiency and a commitment to delivering outstanding AV experiences. Please note, this is an individual contributor role.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Guide and mentor the AV Operations team, offering support and opportunities for professional growth.
  2. Address AV-related operational requests in accordance with service level agreements (SLA).
  3. Manage and supervise AV infrastructure during significant events that rely on AV technology.
  4. Oversee the installation, management, and troubleshooting of AV equipment for various functions, including BGM, all-hands meetings, auditorium configurations, podcasts, and video conferencing.
  5. Ensure the smooth integration and operation of wireless presentation systems.
  6. Program and troubleshoot Crestron Control Systems, utilizing tools such as Simple Windows, VT_Proe, and Toolbox software (preferred).
  7. Manage audio signal flow and resolve issues related to Bose DSP Audio.
  8. Set up and manage auditorium lighting presets based on the nature of events.
  9. Collaborate with event coordinators, IT personnel, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality AV services.
  10. Maintain and update documentation concerning AV setups, configurations, and troubleshooting methods.
  11. Stay informed about the latest AV technologies and industry trends to enhance AV operations continuously.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Demonstrated experience in managing AV operations, ideally in a large-scale, multi-site setting.
  2. In-depth knowledge of Bose DSP Audio signal flow and troubleshooting methodologies.
  3. Expertise in programming and troubleshooting Crestron Control Systems using Simple Windows, VT_Proe, and Toolbox software.
  4. Experience with podcast recording setups is advantageous.
  5. Proven ability to set up, manage, and troubleshoot sound and video production equipment.
  6. Familiarity with auditorium lighting preset management based on event types.
  7. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  8. Capacity to work independently and juggle multiple projects concurrently.
