Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floating Store Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for learning the ins and outs of operating and managing a successful convenience store, while assisting various Store Managers at other locations.

This role offers hands-on training and experience, with the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of company policies and procedures, direct supervision of staff, and maximizing store profits and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a quality customer experience and maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation
  • Perform daily accounting and inventory tasks, including fuel inventory records and ATM/Lottery fund management
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff, including new hire packets and performance evaluations
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and implement company promotional initiatives
  • Control inventory variations and cash handling discrepancies
  • Assist in covering manager vacancies at other store locations and hire, train, and develop an assistant manager
  • Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some prior management experience
  • Previous food service certification and/or accounting training is preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
  • Strong math skills and ability to work unsupervised
  • Availability for occasional weekend, holiday, and evening shifts
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
