YOUR ROLE (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)...

The Team Lead for Intensive In-Home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services (IICAPS) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the provision of comprehensive mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families across various environments. This position entails clinical supervision, team coordination, adherence to program standards, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in line with established guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Oversight and Leadership:

  • Provide clinical guidance, supervision, and support to a team of mental health professionals, including therapists, case managers, and support staff.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings, case discussions, and clinical evaluations to ensure effective treatment planning and execution.
  • Encourage a collaborative and nurturing team atmosphere that fosters professional growth and development.

Service Coordination and Program Management:

  • Oversee the execution of recovery plans while ensuring compliance with IICAPS model fidelity and program standards.
  • Coordinate team functions, including scheduling, case assignments, and crisis intervention, to enhance client care and outcomes.
  • Act as a liaison between the team, external organizations, referral services, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service provision.

Documentation and Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure precise and timely documentation of clinical records in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage insurance authorizations and documentation obligations for the caseload.

Quality Assurance and Enhancement:

  • Monitor service delivery outcomes and engage in quality improvement initiatives to boost program effectiveness and client satisfaction.
  • Implement best practices in clinical interventions, crisis management, and case coordination to foster positive outcomes for children and families.

Professional Development and Training:

  • Encourage ongoing training, workshops, and professional development opportunities for team members to improve clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, evidence-based practices, and regulatory updates relevant to child and adolescent mental health services.

EXPECTATIONS...

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and families, preferably in intensive in-home or community-based settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical supervision, team leadership, and program management.
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic interventions, and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and with external partners.
  • Commitment to principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion in service delivery and team dynamics.
