Job Overview As a Merchandising Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and coordination of promotional placements and messaging on our digital platforms.

Your responsibilities will include organizing offer specifics for the creative and content teams, as well as managing assets and copy for the site development team to ensure swift and precise execution of site placements.

This position is crucial for enhancing the customer experience, ensuring that customers can seamlessly navigate and complete their desired purchases.

You will be tasked with ensuring that pricing and promotional details from the Category Management teams are accurately communicated to the operational teams, ensuring correct implementation of offers on the website.

As a liaison among Category Managers, Creative teams, and Site Operations, you will help balance operational timelines and processes effectively.

Additionally, you will assist in verifying that site tagging aligns with the correct data points for merchandising placements under your oversight.

You will also support the tracking and coordination of promotional launch and conclusion timelines.

Key Responsibilities Implement online merchandising strategies aimed at enhancing the customer experience to drive sales, improve conversion rates, and reduce bounce rates.

Demonstrate strong project management skills across various tasks with differing deadlines and priorities.

Ensure promotional offers are functioning correctly and escalate any issues promptly for resolution.

Compile and organize promotional information into comprehensive packages for the creative and content teams to execute.
Collaborate with colleagues across operations, finance, and analytics departments.
Participate in daily promotional discussions to serve as a liaison between operational and category management teams.
Maintain accurate records of promotional placements and timelines.
Map analytical tagging to the promotional calendar, accounting for variations and changes in offers.
Review and confirm that both staged and live content accurately reflect the latest promotional information.
Communicate staged and live content to category and product managers for their assessment.
Support diverse time zones and varying promotional launch schedules.
Submit requests for promotional launches and conclusions on the company website.
Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business, or 4+ years of relevant experience in site merchandising.
Familiarity with CMS-based eCommerce platforms.
Experience with project management tools such as JIRA.
Knowledge of Site Usability, A/B Testing, and Optimization.
Understanding of digital creative processes and quality assurance.
A strategic thinker with a solid grasp of consumer behavior in online environments.
Meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Flexibility to accommodate different time zones and launch hours.
Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical details in accessible terms across various departments.
