Overview:
The Quality Assurance Inspector plays a crucial role in safeguarding the safety, effectiveness, and quality of products manufactured by AEQUOR, Inc. This position is integral to the Quality Assurance Inspection (QAI) Department and involves adherence to established quality standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials and in-process products, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Prioritize inspection tasks effectively to meet the operational needs of the manufacturing team.
- Serve as a point of contact for suppliers to address and resolve quality-related issues.
- Provide expert quality assurance support to the Packaging and Manufacturing Operations, including real-time problem-solving with operational staff.
- Engage in process improvement initiatives to streamline inspection procedures and reduce redundancy.
- Apply knowledge of ANSI.ASQ Z1.4 sampling plans to ensure effective inspection practices.
- Maintain familiarity with AQL sampling methodologies and cGMP standards relevant to inspection activities.
- Utilize measurement tools and interpret technical drawings to assess product specifications.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Department and suppliers to rectify discrepancies in inspection documentation.
- Exhibit strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills while maintaining attention to detail.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or higher, along with 1-3 years of experience in a GMP environment. Familiarity with SAP ERP systems and regulatory compliance is advantageous.
Note: This position requires flexibility in working hours, including potential early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends.
