Job Overview

As a SAP Logistics Specialist at Woongjin, Inc, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our operational efficiency and supporting our users across North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer expert advice to users in defining and designing processes that align with customer needs; document current business workflows, pinpoint inefficiencies, and suggest system enhancements.
  • Coordinate with headquarters to manage and optimize the implementation of new and existing processes within the SAP Logistics module to meet customer demands.
  • Provide comprehensive support to users at all relevant sites in North America. Understand end-users' technical requirements in SAP SD, LE, and MM, deliver necessary training and documentation, and foster strong relationships with end-users.
  • Track and report on the status of issues, proactively assess performance against operational standards, and provide insightful reports.
  • Act as the primary on-call support for troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
Compensation

Salary: $130K - $150K per year

Qualifications

Work Hours: 9 am to 6 pm ET support required

  • At least 10 years of experience as a functional or business consultant with SAP applications.
  • Hands-on experience in functional configuration and design within an ECC 6 environment.
  • Proficient in processing various EDI document types and familiar with related systems.
  • Project management experience that includes planning, executing tests, training users, and documenting training materials.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the system development life cycle and IT practices.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes up to 10-15%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Familiarity with standard project management tools and methodologies.
  • ABAP debugging skills.
  • Experience in all phases of full-lifecycle SAP implementations.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of EDI-related systems and architecture.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a focus on teamwork.
  • A proactive approach to challenging established practices and drawing relevant conclusions.
  • Adept at understanding customer priorities and working towards their achievement.
  • Effective time management skills based on assigned roles and objectives.
