Position Overview
The Electrical Project Manager plays a crucial role in the planning, coordination, execution, and successful completion of assigned projects. This position is essential for ensuring that project objectives are met within established timelines and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities
1. Analyze awarded project proposals to determine requirements, tools, staffing, and materials needed.
2. Prepare Job Cost Breakdown and Schedule of Values for the accounting department.
3. Attend Pre-Construction Meetings and communicate any contract or job modifications to the relevant parties.
4. Collaborate with the Contract Administrator, Project Coordinator, and Safety Director to ensure all project contracts, permits, insurances, and safety requirements are in place before work commences.
5. Direct and coordinate project personnel activities to maintain schedule adherence and budget compliance.
6. Develop and maintain the overall project schedule.
7. Issue Subcontracts and create Purchase Orders as necessary.
8. Conduct regular job site meetings to keep team members informed about project status and company updates.
9. Write and process Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage change orders.
10. Meet monthly with management to review Project Status Reports.
11. Ensure proper project closeout by confirming complete invoicing, submission of all necessary paperwork, and removal of company tools and equipment from the job site.
12. Oversee hiring, coaching, evaluating, and, if necessary, terminating personnel assigned to the project.
13. Verify payroll hours and job codes, submitting data promptly to the payroll administrator.
14. Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, while making sure employees adhere to company policies and procedures.

Work Environment
This position operates in both a professional office setting and in the field. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers will be utilized. Field visits may expose the employee to varying weather conditions and noise levels.

Physical Requirements
The physical demands of this role require regular communication and interaction. The employee will frequently stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks. The ability to lift up to 25 pounds and navigate uneven surfaces during field visits is necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Education and Experience Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of progressive project management experience is required. Candidates must possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and clients of diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential for creating job schedules and project documentation. Candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and architectural drawings. A valid Florida driver's license is required.
