Home Instead is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Client Care Coordinator to join our administrative team and contribute to our mission of enhancing the lives of our clients, their families, our staff, and the senior community we serve. Home Instead specializes in providing non-medical support for daily living activities, enabling our clients to maintain their independence at home.
The Client Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in various client care functions, including consultations with prospective clients and their families, introductions between clients and Care Professionals, and conducting quality assurance visits with current clients. Utilizing a consultative sales approach, the Coordinator assesses each client's unique needs to develop tailored service plans. Continuous evaluation of these plans is essential, involving regular communication and visits to ensure high-quality care, client satisfaction, and retention, while also identifying opportunities to expand service hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with potential clients and their families to understand their needs and propose appropriate service solutions.
- Conduct service inquiries and care consultations as required, adhering to the consultative sales methodology.
- Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with potential clients and families who have not yet committed to services.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate various aspects of client care.
- Facilitate introductions between clients and Care Professionals for every new client and Care Professional.
- Document all quality assurance meetings and maintain accurate client and responsible party records.
- Plan and execute a schedule ensuring each client receives at least one quality assurance visit per month or quarter.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to adjust service plans to better meet clients' ongoing needs through a quality assurance program.
- Foster open and effective communication with clients, family members, franchise owners, colleagues, Care Professionals, and referral sources.
- Assist clients and their families in resolving issues and ensuring they receive the necessary services.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, ensuring they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in Care Professional meetings as needed.
- Maintain regular attendance to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Conduct family education sessions as required.
- Perform any other functions deemed necessary.
Qualifications:
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Friendly and approachable personality.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Experience in outside sales within the healthcare sector is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SalesForce is a plus.
- Must pass a Level II Background Screening.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant business or sales experience (consultative sales).
- Must be able to work in the field and possess insurability.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
