Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Operations Manager to join our team at Watt Acquisition, LLC. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our electrical operations, including project management, financial performance, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage all aspects of regional operations, ensuring compliance with national and local procedures, regulations, and codes.
  • Provide leadership and direction to management and employees, fostering a positive team spirit and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Manage financial performance through effective expense control and operational efficiency, developing strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Actively participate in recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, and employee relations, ensuring quality and positive team morale.
  • Oversee production processes to ensure quality and efficiency, eliminating liability and ensuring successful project completion.
  • Monitor all projects to ensure customer satisfaction, meeting monthly with executives to discuss performance and operational changes.
  • Track and report monthly backlog information, collaborating with leadership to set goals and strategies for the region.
  • Oversee all departments in Florida, including Estimators, Operations, Field, and Project Managers, fostering relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
  • Implement business strategies and make recommendations for growth, collaborating closely with the Accounting, Human Resources, and Administration teams.
Requirements
  • Minimum of ten years in construction management, with experience in electrical contracting preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process, familiarity with construction management software, and competent in conflict and crisis management.
  • Excellent time and project management skills, with a BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of ten years in Heavy Construction, including municipality, with in-depth knowledge of project management principles, technology solutions, preconstruction, and estimating.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EIT certification preferred, with a valid Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of construction technology, familiarity with project and department budget process and tools, risk assessment/management, and administrative policies and procedures.
  • Conceptual planning ability, conflict management and problem-solving skills, leadership ability, multi-tasking ability, communication, meeting, and presentation skills, and comfort with time reporting systems.
Working Environment & Conditions

This position requires sitting for extended periods, with occasional extended hours and overtime to meet workload demands. Travel to job sites may be required 20-30% of the time.
