Role Responsibilities:

The Project Manager is accountable for overseeing all assigned Blue Stream Fiber projects, managing budgets and timelines, and coordinating with vendors to ensure the delivery of all project requirements. This individual will act as the primary point of contact for project-related challenges, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of potential risks that may impact project timelines or costs. The Project Manager will ensure compliance with Blue Stream policies and procedures while supporting the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all phases, including contracting, design, equipment procurement, zoning, permitting, and construction, are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage external vendors and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Provide strategic advice and influence decisions at all levels of the organization.
  • Negotiate project costs and hold vendors accountable to maintain budget integrity; communicate any issues that may affect project completion or expenses.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, scopes, and budgets for all assigned projects, making adjustments as necessary and ensuring proper project closeout.
  • Lead deployment meetings with team members to assess project status and implement necessary changes for timely completion.
  • Attend customer meetings to provide updates and resolve any arising conflicts.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure timely distribution of closeout documents.
  • Ensure all projects are accurately tracked, invoiced, and closed with precision.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing project budgets or related financial oversight.
  • Familiarity with NESC, NEC, and OSHA standards.
  • Experience in customer-facing project management.
  • Advanced knowledge of telecommunications project management and construction practices.
  • Understanding of public and private right-of-way project deployment, including regulatory processes.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and contracts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer service orientation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
