Job Overview

The Cash Management and Collection Specialist is responsible for the effective management of cash and collection processes within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer at Georgetown University. This role requires a strong understanding of financial operations, grant management, and compliance with federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage cash and collection processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to federal sponsors.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce financial risks.
  • Collaborate with financial analysts, grant managers, and department administrators to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
  • Provide training and support to staff on financial operations and grant management procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial operations, grant management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial software, including GMS and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Work Mode: Hybrid

Pay Range:

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position is: $54,000 - $100,493.33.

Compensation is determined by a number of factors, including the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
