Job Summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is partnering with a commercial organization to bring a skilled Collections Specialist to their team. This role involves managing the organization's accounts receivable ledger, generating invoices, and monitoring customer account details for non-payments and irregularities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Manage the organization's accounts receivable ledger and ensure accuracy of entries.
  • Invoice Generation: Generate and send out invoices to clients in a timely manner.
  • Customer Account Monitoring: Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Collection Activities: Follow up on outstanding receivables through phone calls, emails, and other communication methods.
  • Billing Discrepancies: Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes promptly.
  • Payment Arrangements: Set up payment arrangements and negotiate payment terms with delinquent clients.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of collections activities and customer interactions.
  • Reporting: Prepare aging reports and other accounts receivable reports as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with other departments to improve billing and collection processes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to accounts receivable and collections.
