About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Inside Account Manager to join our team at McGraw-Hill Education. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a designated territory and customer base to attain and surpass sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to drive sales growth and expand market penetration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying and influencing their needs to advance sales.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive sales and promote our solutions.
  • Perform targeted customer outreach to build and maintain the sales pipeline.
  • Develop and deliver product presentations to key accounts and stakeholders, effectively communicating our solutions.
  • Lead site-based introductory meetings with current or potential accounts to develop ongoing relationships.
  • Develop winning professional solution proposals for existing or new accounts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years' education and/or sales experience required.
  • Microsoft software skills: Outlook and PowerPoint (basic), Word and Excel (intermediate), Salesforce CRM.
  • Proven ability to organize daily tasks effectively, manage time efficiently, and complete work without external distractions.
  • Prior experience working in the educational publishing space is highly preferred.

The compensation package for this position includes a base salary of $45,000-$70,000 annually, plus a sales commission plan and a range of medical and/or other benefits.
