MRI Specialist II-IV Certified: A Key Role in Medical Imaging

NYU Langone Health is seeking a highly skilled MRI Specialist II-IV Certified to join our team. As a critical member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a key role in performing medically prescribed MRI procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Imaging and Patient Care: Perform MRI procedures with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient outcomes.
- Equipment Maintenance and Quality Control: Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adhering to safety protocols.
- Patient Communication and Education: Clearly explain MRI procedures and protocols to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Continuous Learning and Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technologies, techniques, and best practices, enhancing your skills and contributing to the department's excellence.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in MRI or a related field.
- Certifications: Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification in New York State, ARRT Primary Certification/Registration, and New York State License (Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy).
