MRI Specialist II-IV Certified Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Specialist II-IV Certified to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed MRI procedures of designated anatomical areas, under the general direction of the radiologist and supervisor.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining informed consent.
- Position patients and MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and procedure details.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in MRI imaging.
- Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification in New York State.
- ARRT Primary Certification/Registration in Radiologic Technology.
- New York State License in Radiologic Technology.
