MRI Specialist II-IV Certified

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Specialist II-IV Certified to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed MRI procedures, under the general direction of the radiologist and supervisor.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI procedures of designated anatomical areas, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
- Use hospital and radiology information systems to access patient information, track exams, and document procedures.
- Set up and administer IV contrast media, explaining procedures to patients and engaging radiologists as needed.
- Maintain equipment, perform quality control checks, and report any malfunctions or issues.
- Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and privacy throughout procedures.
- Collaborate with other technologists, radiologists, and medical staff to ensure accurate and efficient procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in MRI or related field.
- Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification in New York State.
- Primary Certification/Registration in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy.
- New York State License (Radiologic Technology).
