We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Services Representative to provide outstanding service to our guests at Hyatt Centric SouthPark Charlotte.

Your role will involve greeting guests, managing their details, issuing room keys, and addressing any inquiries to ensure a pleasant experience during their stay.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication abilities, a strong dedication to their work, and a focus on guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payments by accepting cash, checks, or credit card transactions from guests; ensure accurate change is provided.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints as necessary.
  • Provide a warm welcome to each guest, assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accurate room assignments and key distribution.
  • Coordinate with the housekeeping team to confirm that guest rooms are prepared and ready for occupancy.

Maintain accurate records:
Ensure that guest information is up-to-date and correct.

  • Handle incoming calls, manage online and in-person booking requests, and respond to inquiries regarding room rates, availability, amenities, loyalty programs, and special requests.

Qualifications

  • Ability to handle phone calls and manage challenging situations with ease.
  • Strong time management, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Preferred experience of 1+ years in the hospitality industry or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and reservation management systems is advantageous.
