Front Office Representative

Job Summary:
The Front Office Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. This role requires a warm and friendly demeanor, with a focus on delivering personalized service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with guests in a professional and welcoming manner
- Process check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness
- Communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch bell/valet attendants as needed
- Post guest charges and payments, process no-shows, and adjust disputed charges
- Run daily reports and contingency lists
- Verify rate codes and make adjustments on guest invoices
- Block and unblock rooms according to hotel needs
- Operate the telephone system and respond to wake-up calls
- Notify guests of messages and record them legibly
- Maintain knowledge of room types, hotel amenities, and features
- Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns
- Solve problems efficiently and effectively
- Demonstrate sales techniques to upsell rooms, amenities, and products
- Maintain a neat and organized work area
- Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- 1+ year of relevant work experience in a similar scope and title
- Experience within luxury brand/markets
- Student or graduate of hotel management preferred
Work Environment:
The Front Office Agent will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changing priorities and deadlines. Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands.
Physical Demands:
The incumbent will be required to stand, stoop, bend, and crouch up to 8 hours daily. Push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
