Position Summary

The Technical Support Analyst acts as the first point of contact for technical assistance within the organization, providing both remote and on-site support for operating systems, software applications, and hardware devices. Key responsibilities include managing the IT environment, overseeing device deployments, and facilitating the IT components of employee onboarding and offboarding processes. This role also necessitates thorough follow-up on support tickets, adherence to IT protocols and standard operating procedures, as well as the management of IT assets and maintaining up-to-date internal documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary technical resource, assisting company personnel by identifying, troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving OS, software, and hardware issues both remotely and on-site.
  • Oversee the IT environment, including workstations, printers, software installations, inventory management, updates, and patches.
  • Monitor support ticket requests and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Manage Windows and MacOS environments and facilitate device deployment through MDM solutions.
  • Take charge of the IT aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Ensure compliance with group IT guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain current internal documentation.
  • Handle logistics for IT equipment.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Information Technology field (2- or 4-year degree required).
  • 3-5 years of experience in an office desktop support environment or a similar fast-paced support role.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and MacOS.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 suite and other Microsoft applications.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in multitasking various duties and assignments.
  • Capability to work independently and initiate projects as needed.
  • Quick-thinking skills to provide effective solutions to in-office end users.
  • Technically adaptable to technologies beyond direct end-user support.
  • Ability to assist remote Systems Administrators with troubleshooting.
  • Effective communication with trades, building management, and external professional resources.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Atlassian products (Jira Service Management).
  • Experience in provisioning devices using MDM.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and MacOS.
