LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, is in search of a Telecommunications Analyst possessing technical proficiency in telecommunications systems and services to provide support for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of telecommunications standards and terminology, including VoIP, analog systems, and cabling protocols.
- Manage and oversee telecommunications projects effectively.
- Assist in planning and defining project requirements.
- Support the management of telecommunications revenue and expenses for the FAA MMAC telecommunications branch.
- Collaborate with the FAA Finance Office on Central Budget planning and requirements.
- Respond to requests for budget data.
- Process Telecommunications Work Requests related to funding requirements.
- Provide quotes for customer requirements and confirm availability of customer funds.
- Manage Procurement Requests (PR) for the MMAC Telecommunications Unit using PRISM.
- Track customer funds and maintain accurate records.
- Reconcile organizational revenue and expenses using Delphi.
- Oversee new telecom equipment inventory within the Telecom & Space Management System.
- Issue and monitor requests for national programs through various management tools.
- Support the FAA Voice Enterprise Services (FAVES) Program.
- Provide assistance for national programs, including General Services Administration (GSA)/Networx.
- Establish and nurture relationships with on-site telephone coordinators, customers, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with FAA organizations to help achieve their overall mission.
- Associate degree with 16 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience with the FAA.
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, project management, written and verbal communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Ability to initiate actions effectively, collaborate with others, and drive tasks to completion.
- Location: Oklahoma City, OK
- Work Hours: Hybrid with standard working hours.
- Travel: Minimal.
- Physical Requirements:
- Extended computer use, requiring regular and prolonged periods at a computer terminal.
- Mobility to navigate the office environment and access necessary equipment.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity for troubleshooting and precise tasks.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally stand for troubleshooting.
- Background Check: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
