Job Overview

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, is in search of a Telecommunications Analyst possessing substantial technical knowledge in telecommunications systems and services to provide support for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate familiarity with telecommunications standards and terminology, including VoIP, analog systems, and cabling protocols.
  • Manage and oversee telecommunications projects effectively.
  • Assist in the planning and requirement gathering processes.
  • Support the management of telecommunications revenue and expenses for the FAA's telecommunications branch.
  • Collaborate with the FAA Finance Office on central budget planning and requirements.
  • Respond to budget-related inquiries and data requests.
  • Process Telecommunications Work Requests for funding needs.
  • Provide cost estimates for customer requirements and verify the availability of customer funds.
  • Manage Procurement Requests for the telecommunications unit using PRISM.
  • Track customer funds and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Reconcile organizational revenue and expenses using Delphi.
  • Oversee the inventory of new telecommunications equipment in the Telecom & Space Management System.
  • Issue and monitor requests for national programs through various management tools.
  • Support the FAA Voice Enterprise Services Program.
  • Engage with national programs, including GSA/Networx.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with telephone coordinators, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with FAA organizations to support their overall mission.
Educational Background
  • Associate degree with 16 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
  • Preferred experience with the FAA.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, project management, written and verbal communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, well-organized, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to initiate actions effectively, collaborate with team members, and drive tasks to completion.
Work Environment
  • Location: Oklahoma City, OK
  • Work Hours: Hybrid schedule with standard working hours.
  • Travel: Minimal to none.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Extended computer use with regular and prolonged periods at a workstation.
    • Mobility to navigate the office environment and access necessary equipment.
    • Manual dexterity and visual acuity for operating computer systems and troubleshooting.
    • Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally stand for troubleshooting tasks.
  • Background Check: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
