Department Overview

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is dedicated to enhancing educational experiences and improving communication and access to information through technology. The department provides a wide range of services, including computing, networking, e-learning, and technical support for students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:
  • Answering phone calls and addressing technical inquiries.
  • Troubleshooting computer-related issues and documenting incidents.
  • Providing application support and assisting with various technical tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Enrollment Requirements

Students must meet specific enrollment criteria to be eligible for this position:
  • During Fall/Spring Semesters: Enrollment of at least half-time is required.
  • During Summer Semester: Enrollment in a minimum of 3 credit hours is necessary.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Dependability and responsibility in fulfilling job duties.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality customer service with effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Windows, Macintosh, iPhones, and Android devices.

Preferred:
  • Basic troubleshooting skills and the ability to engage with clients on various technical issues.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
