About the Role

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Federal Health Services Capture Manager to lead and support high-performing teams responsible for securing existing and winning new business opportunities in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Veterans Affairs (VA), and Defense Health Agency (DHA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the business operation's overall capture strategy to increase the win probability of new and existing projects.
  • Work closely with the responsible business development or marketing lead to support the transition from opportunity identification into capture efforts.
  • Assemble and manage a capture team to successfully bid and win contracts.
  • Communicate the organization's core capabilities to existing and new clients and partners.
  • Establish internal and external teaming and manage bid and proposal funding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years or master's degree with 6+ years of experience in federal government professional services.
  • Familiarity with federal government acquisition types, processes, and tools.
  • Experience in capturing contract opportunities with emphasis on opportunity qualification, stakeholder engagement, solution development, and proposal submission.

Skills and Qualities

  • Ability to drive to consensus in diverse settings.
  • Organized and able to manage complex tasks and processes with attention to details.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments surrounded by highly skilled individuals.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as effective collaboration and inclusive leadership skills.
  • Prioritizes the generation of results over activity.
