Business Development Manager

SeKON is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our federal health IT sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully identifying, qualifying, and capturing federal health IT contracts, with a focus on operating divisions and agencies within the Department of Health and Human Services.
Responsibilities:- Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the federal health IT sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with federal clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Lead the development and execution of capture strategies to win new contracts.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and emerging opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and successful capture efforts.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT sales and capture management.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with federal agency decision makers.
- Established network and proven relationships within the federal health IT sector.
- Strong sales skills, including negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
