Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Insurance Client Relations Specialist to become a vital part of our Property & Casualty team. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative environment, showcasing exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a passion for continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary objective of this role is to manage a portfolio of clients, assessing their needs and risks to develop tailored insurance solutions. Responsibilities include:
- Independently managing daily client service tasks, including renewal marketing and insurance placement.
- Preparing essential documents such as certificates, binders, and auto ID cards.
- Engaging in meetings with insurance carriers.
- Processing policy changes and endorsements, ensuring accuracy in client management systems.
- Conducting audits and addressing discrepancies.
- Leading account management and participating in pre-renewal discussions.
- Consulting with clients on their coverage requirements and marketing renewal policies.
- Maintaining strong relationships with team members and providing mentorship to junior staff.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess:
- A high school diploma; a college degree is preferred.
- An active state-specific Property Casualty Insurance agent's license or the ability to obtain one within three months of employment.
- A minimum of three years of experience in customer service, underwriting, or risk management within the insurance sector.
