KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Processes customer orders through various communication channels including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Contributes to the company's profitability by negotiating pricing within established guidelines.
• Adjusts pricing for non-contract customers to remain competitive while optimizing profit margins.
• Cultivates strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and enhance service delivery.
• Manages inventory levels to meet customer demands effectively.
• Authorized to place orders independently for amounts up to specified limits.
• Expedites pending orders and prepares shipments for delivery.
• Responsible for sourcing products from various inventory locations.
• Evaluates and selects the most economical shipping options for customer orders.
• Handles product returns as necessary.
• Provides assistance to junior representatives in resolving customer inquiries and locating products.
• Performs additional tasks as required.
• Responds to customer inquiries regarding product information, provides pricing, and processes orders, often handling more complex requests due to experience.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires a high school diploma or GED along with three to five years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficient in computer applications and software.
• Effective negotiation skills.
• Basic understanding of product offerings.
• Dependability, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
